Here I've been taking more images of cannons at Pendennis Castle. It was on a Sunny, Cloudy and Rainy day there. It's take some time to shoot an image in the right kind of weather but Sun, Clouds and rain is the perfect tool for me. I using a Canon 350D with the 73mm or 30mm lens.
The cannons were the most powerful weapons on earth since the 18th centry with steel balls then to large shells. I've used photoshop CS2 and CS4 to complete my images with contrast and B+W or Grayscale images.
This is a Anti-Ship cannon pointing across the bay. It has the great view in front of it and the colour for the cannon is Navy Gray.
This is one of the most powerful cannons I've ever shot from a short distance. It's massive and grey surrounded by grass and concreat.
Just a few meters away from the massive cannon is another cannon which is an Anit-Ship Gun with a steel plated armour shield to protect the opperators from samll arms fire.
This cannon at the corner can be seen at the carpark. It is a Bofors 40mm Anti-Air Gun and it is surrounded by grass and construction equipment. I call this image the "Lonely Cannon".
This is a very big cannon inside the coastal bunker where there are 2 of them pointing out to sea.
There's not as big as the "Guns of Navarone" but I think they were designed to do the same thing.
Thanks for looking anyway, my work is quite boring working on the computer cheers!
